Macau

Located close to Hong Kong and former Portuguese enclave for nearly 400 years, Macau has benefited from its situation to develop trade between East and West.
The peninsula and the islands of Coloane and Taipa constitute a colourful palette of pastel and ordered greenery. Visitors can feel the Portuguese influence everywhere in Macau: cobbled back streets, baroque churches, stone fortresses and Art Deco buildings.
In 2005, the Unesco named 30 buildings and squares collectively as the Historic Centre of Macau World Heritage Site. Several world-class museums also make the renown of Macau.
Macau is a cosmopolitan destination, with 95% of Chinese residents; the remainder is mostly made up of Portuguese and Macanese (people with mixed Portuguese and Chinese origins). This fusion of Mediterranean and Asian people, lifestyles, cultures and food that makes Macau so unique.
Nowadays, modern tourist facilities and extravagant luxury hotels blend in with this unique heritage.

Massachusetts

The state of Massachusetts is known as the historical state of America, and the heart of New England. It is where the Pilgrims arrived in 1620. Throughout the centuries, the state has gained a rich history and culture thanks to pioneers, sailors, immigrants and manufacturers.
In the Northeast of the USA, the State of Massachusetts stretches from Cape Cod peninsula on the Atlantic Coast to Berkshires Hills in the west part of the state. In Massachusetts, ocean and hills are still in a driving distance; it’s a much contrasted place, from the sophisticated city of Boston to long wild beaches, through rolling hills, charming islands and small artist communities of New England such as Rockport or Newburyport.
